Andrew Cotterell has been baking for over 40 years.
He began working in his family business after studying at college for his Diplomas in baking and cake decoration.
Andrew’s goal has always been to make quality products using the best ingredients.
In 1991, Andrew & his family inspired by Nadel and decided to expand the bakery business into the wholesale market. The patisserie business was successful and included clients such as Gleneagles Hotel and the Sheraton Group.
In 2008 Andrew had the opportunity to open a shop in the picturesque village of Corbridge in Northumberland, he knew it would be the perfect place to get back to his first love – supplying quality breads and cakes while also developing his interest in patisserie.
Grant’s soon built up a loyal clientele which continues to grow. The focus of the business has always been to make the best quality products, including well loved traditional lines such as home made pies and a wide variety of quiche, and our very popular lemon drizzle cakes, while also introducing patisseries such as rich chocolate truffle torte, mango and blackberry delice and strawberry and pistachio Bagatelles.
We love to hear our customers views and regularly reintroduce favourite lines while also tempting them with desserts & pastries you just don’t see anywhere else.
